So, to represent value in art, I utilized an India Ink bleed method!!! What is this you may ask? India ink is this really interesting type of ink you can use like watercolor, except when you put it on wet paper, it does this cool swirly thing. It's SUPER deep black, so when it swirls, it makes all these shades and you guessed it...value!!!
I decided to do an artpeice of a rooster, taking advantage of the spoooookiness india ink gives off! It was really fun, and showed me how much you can get out of one color. Next time, I would definitely use more water, because I didn't get as many swirls as I wanted.
