Drawlloween 2025

Drawlloween: a fun yearly tradition where someone on the worldwide web uploads daily prompts for artists to draw daily. Though I never tend to do it daily, it's fun to participate in a few! This year, all the ones I participated in were puns, and it felt like they got worse everyday xD

--------------------------

Scare Refreshener! This one I did on a complete whim. I focused on doing it messily, and then filling it with details later. I partially did this out of having little time, but also because I was interested. I've heard recently of artist called Basquiat who followed this technique- focusing on quick art in excess- getting all his thoughts out quickly. This was partially inspired by his background in graffitti art. It was really fun, and I'd love to practice this technique more.

Taco Tombsday! Almost opposite of how I approached the previous prompt, I took this one very slowly. I wanted to perfect the skeleton, getting all it's details realistic. In my sketch, I acheived this goal very well- but as often occurs when I use ink- it got left refined.

Bean Wolf! This one was really fun, a collaboration between Aster, Zoey and I. We took a class period to watercolor the prompt, each claiming a detail. It's really fun to all work on a prompt together, as we can really focus on our seperate parts. I focused on the legs, sketching the road, and some trees behind the dog. I took a lot of inspiration from how I did the trees on my mural in my approach to the colors.
